In the summer of 2025, Niveah reached several new milestones: her first full-length play, Callas, premiered at JAMS Black Box Theater to rave reviews; she presented a commissioned five-minute work at Horizon Theatre’s New South Young Playwrights Festival; and she made her international debut at the Poetry by Heart Festival in London, England. Her current projects include the continued development of a new full-length play, slated for preview in summer 2026, as well as her forthcoming play collection, "Deep-Fried Sunsets".

Welcome to where stories live

Over the last eight years, the written word has overtaken my life. Infecting me with all the intricate words and sounds that tell beautiful stories that otherwise would be suppressed. Just like many other amazing artists, there is fire inside of me, the flames have been fanned and stroked by not just poetry but all the other human beings who enjoy the intimately harsh love-affair that comes with engaging with the written word–like you. For everyone who enters here, know this place is imperfect, rhythmic, full, trying, beautiful, stretched, hard, loving, real; me. So come engage as you because I will be here as me, and let us journey through the bitter, warm, rocky, familiar, complex thing that is poetics.

"When I close my eyes ancestral fantasies beat inside of me."

From the poem, "I"
